26th February 2023 Wing Boarding: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: F3 Surf / Sea State: Waves and chop Air Temperature: 7 Sea Temperature: 7.9 Weather: Sun and Cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: Felt pull on 5m wing on beach, but hardly on the water, maybe dropped or current taking it away. Back for 6.2m but still a struggle, and holed wing in shore dump from on shore NE. At least got only gybe I tried in and felt comfortable in steaight line, mast at 8 with red+blue shims in 205 tail works best for me. I had moved back bumper and worried I might lose that as an anchor position for back foot but seems I automatically shift to balance. Got a few stink bug starts to work which were easier than wobbling on knees to grab wing. Couple riding waves well in light winds, I should have used larger foil. |
